I really want to go to UCD when I finish school but next year is going to be my last year in school and this time next year I will have to fill up a form saying what universities or colleges I want to go to . I need to get 435 points. And I mite just get the points . But the way some teachers mark me is around about a B- and some a little lower. But I really like economics but I want to go there. And what do you think I should do…… what ways would it help to get my grades up. I really need so much help. And if I don't get them points I end up doing a BA in psychology in DUBLIN BUSINESS SCHOOL!! . And It would take longer for me to become an educational psychologist. What do u think I should do try and take it out of my mind that I will not be fit to get those points? Or just keep on saying I can do it?? . I mite just be able to cross the requirements ??But does anyone know will the take anyone how as a little lower than the requirements ??? and what ways do you find studying better ??

  1. Ask someone in your class to see if they have some time to help you with your homework, or ask if the two of you can study for your class(es).

Another is to ask your teacher(s) to see if they can help you in anyway.

  2. dont say you won't get the points cus if you work hard enough you will. make sure you put UCD as your number 1 choice on your CAO because you could get lucky and even if you dont get it first round, you might get it in the second round of offers. ucd isn't the only option for economics-try UCC in Cork or NUI Maynooth, they both offer a brilliant range of courses. I'm studying for my mocks at the moment so I can tell ya now dont leave everything til the last minute! I'm gonna be cramming for the next week so if you want study tips, the only thing I can say is dont put everything off to the last minute. if next year is your last year, I presume you're in fifth year so you're lucky that you've got so much time. just take things as they come and put in the effort now because it'll really pay off later-dont forget to look around in other colleges for that economics course as well-good luck :D
