  1. ooohhh!!!! very nice!!! awesome horses btw 2! i llluuurrrrvvvvv the one with the gray trotting away.  he looks exactly like a horse my friend just got!!!!

wait were u looking for comments on the picture quality, or the horses, cuz both were awesome!!!!!

  2. i like them! very pretty horses btw! i dont do photography or anything but the pictures are really nice! in some of the pics its weird tho cause for some reason it looks like the horses were like stickered into grass like in one of the kids book where it gives a background and you put stickers on where they want. idk why but in a couple it did seem like it. idk what you can do for that tho. good job tho!

  3. AWWW!  The palomino is very cute!

He has a beautiful color!  Is he a welsh pony?

I think he is adorable!  I'll bet he'd make a good jumper.  He looks to be very sweet-natured and athletic.

    Is he yours?

  4. well i think he or she is so cute but maybe it is just that i love all animals

  5. Some nice photography. I liked the picture of the running Grey.

Try to join a photo club if you are keen, because they will help you to make the most of your subjects. Good luck.

  6. I like the second one.

but the others seem like they're just... pictures. There's not too much creativity that goes along with them.

Try changing your angles, shooting from various distances, and, like the person below me said, shooting in black and white or sepia.

Good luck! Hope I helped. :)

  7. no offense but I wouldn't used the run down background you had with the little palamino.. It  just makes your attention go to how old the place is.. I dont mean to be rude..

  8. I like the 4 picture it looks like he is playing in the grass..It looks soo cute....

  9. The second to last two look photoshopped..

I like the third one though!

    The others are just average.

Try shooting in black & white, it makes the pictures look instantly beautiful without having to change the angles or anything.

Good luck and keep up the good work!!

    =]

  10. the only i one i personally like is the one where the Grey is walking towards you

  11. my favourite was the brown horse but probably because I like brown horses the most though the others are okay

  12. The horses look really nice! I love the palomino and the stance he is taking... but for the photography aspect of it the background is distracting and if you have a program like photo shop you could crop a few of them. Cropping would give the picture a center of focus and maybe you could take the pictures from an interesting angle. Other tips to make them look nice is to sepia, gray scale or black and white them. With a gray scale or B&W you could do a color splash. Also a lot of cameras have a setting that you can use for moving subjects so they aren't blurry and more in focus.

I would say just work with the pictures until you find something that looks eye pleasing to you and others.

  13. Please don't take my advice to critically...I am not sure how old you are or anything...but based on these photos they are very beginner. I am not sure if your looking into pursuing photography or not but my advice to you is think outside of the box. Now the horses are beautiful but your shooting upwards alot and far away. Try shooting up close, get some perspective shots, some more action shots, try even getting on the horse and balancing the camera to take some cool shots of the neck & ears. Really try to get the horses personality through the shot. Now horses are constantly moving but dont be shy to shoot hundreds just to find a few good ones. Also try to shoot with several different backgrounds.

If your intrested in specifically horses I would try out http://www.amazon.com/Photographing-Vide... this book may help you learn how to shoot the horse.

Also for a good coffee table book check out Horses by Michael Eastman. He has given me lots of shooting ideas! http://www.amazon.com/Horses-Photographs...

    Best of luck!!!

  14. Keep it up!! Horses are one of the hardest things to photograph, and i think you're doing a great job.

I would only suggest working on the composition of the photographs. Composition is one of the most important aspects of any form of art, that's part of what gives the art work or photo 'emotion' and 'feeling'...

You're on a role, so don't stop now. if you really want to excel in photography with horses i would bring your camera with you every time you see the horses. have fun with it and good luck!!!

  16. Don't quit your day job.

    Haha, I'm joking.

They're iight dawg. keep it up, you'll get better..... Well either that or you won't.

  17. you have horse butt in all of your pictures except one. thats not good.

  18. I LOVE those two horses. But I would try and get more action in the pictures. Like cantering and other things.

  19. Love the Gray...think you need a new position for the palomino. he looks a lil awkward. LOL not being mean just suggestions

  20. I liked the second and forth the others are just average

  21. Those 2 horse are very pretty, But you need like a background for the palomino like you have with the gray with the green grasss and yellow flowers. If you ahve a stable put the palomino in that for a few pictures or get a lunging whip and crack it near him to get a picture of him cantering in the paddock :)

  22. i love your horses.. and the place looks familiar.. where do you live??

ahh a million miles away lol!!! i must of lived there in a previous life!!!! .. good luck to you hun .. keep trying, you will get to be great if this is what you enjoy doing.. do try the black n white photos though..  really striking ;-) xxxxxxxxx
