What do u think about beijing holding the olympics?

me and a friend are doing an inquiry on why beijing for the olympics. can you help me and my friend

WOW! There still bunch of idiots who criticize Beijing's pollution even though ALL the cyclists and the beach volleyball players has said that it has NO EFFECT at all. What a bunch of losers and the one who gave them thumbs up should be ashamed by themselves.

It's had no affect on my life at all..I think China is doing a great job.

Beijing has done a very great job, the best in the Olympic history. The reasons are :

- the Chinese government has a lot of money to spend

- the Olympics received support from the whole country , from the government right up to the ordinary folks

- China has no enemy in the world, that's why you see China all but one countrry failed to show up. Brunei failed to show up due to technicality not because of anything to do with China.

- for the Chinese people, Olympics is not just a "party", it is a platform to show to the world about the new China and also the rise and rise of  China, that's why most of the Chinese feel so passionated and supportive of this Olympic games

Well I love these games. Not the best ever but so far they are "most exceptional" as the IOC president would say.

Well TBH I don't really understand why because of the time of year. It's really hot out there. Also, the amount of smog/pollution is terrible.

i dont like the idea of the olympics in china... the pollution could harm the athelets in some way - which would give the chinese an advantage coz they are used to it
