corruption depends on how you see it

you corrupt someone by showing/giving some benifit to get what you want..

a mother may corrupt her children by offering some eatery..

a girlfriend may corrupt her boyfriend by offering some kisses & intimate moments..

even some questioners here corrupt answered by offering 2 or 10 points

corruption is something you CANNOT possibly eradicate.. since its a human behaviour to expect more.. its a kinda business attitude too

as far as it doesnt get UGLY, i think its ok!

Obviously its like the disease which can never be fully eradicated. If humans gave up the greed and want , they would be humans no more. Gods, demigods, but not humans.

But it would be wrong to say that politicians are corrupting our system, that babus today wont move an inch without some under -the-table payment. Its the citizens who are at fault. When people  have bulging pockets ,they don't seem to be able to wait in lines or wait for their files to reach where they should.Today when time is becoming extremely scarce , people don't mind letting go of some cash if they can save on their time-and discomfort. Obviously the officials get greedy, and those who don't afford to ,still have to pay "extra".

So since the problem arose because of us , therefore the solution too lies with us ---esp "us" the new generation.

Its like saying "when the buying stops , the killing will" ;similarly "when the paying up stops , the demanding will".Tathastu.

corruption is like a leach that sucks blood of it victim. With the economic growth india has become a big fat victim attracting many people with low moral value to politics. have stiffer punishment for those convicted!

Corruption seems to be the accepted evil in today's society. To rid your community of it, you must expose it to the light and hold accountable those who initiated it and those who benefitted from it.

Sorry to say, I don't see that happening anytime soon. Most people are too complacent and selfish to want to risk their safety and that of their families in order to do the right thing.

look at Singapore. They have the lowest government corruption. They pay their civic workers a million a year. They have the best people running the country.
