Consider the possible upbringing of a particular tall athlete.  Let us take Magic Johnson.  Magic, since he was able to walk would dribble, pass, and shoot the ball anywhere on the court.  He grew up to become a 6'9" POINT GUARD.  I dominator in the NBA at the PG position, perhaps the best.  Stay with me...

Mr. Bolt has had a similar upbringing in a more scientific sense.  Bolt has developed his sprint skill over 15 years that includes the following attributes:  Amazing stride length (tops in sprinting), Awesome stride frequency, and Astounding shortened touchdown times comparing to others.  He has the ability to relax in high pressure situations!  

My point is size might be an advantage here.  Magic could/should/would have been a forward.  Why not, everyone else is a forward at 6'9".  Magic developed the necessary skills over time to prove the norm wrong.  Mr. Bolt SHOULD be slow with his long legs lumbering down the track.  Instead, he treated sprinting as as skill for many years!  3 Golds, and more to come.

but they always been crazy at track & feild, its just that most Jamaican sprinters who had great talent either ran for England or Canada because the opportunities were better. Donovan Bailey, a great 90's era sprinter, was Jamaican but he ran for Canada

They are great. They are truly gifted athletes. Good for them. I would have expected their soccer teams to have done better, or their basketball teams. Why was their success limited to track this year?
