  1. Looks like a knock off of an acog mixed with an aimpoint. I don't have any experience with it but i do have a bushnell legend on my AR-15 for varmint hunting.

It hasn't failed me yet and bushnell has a good warranty. That is on paper at least...i haven't had to try it yet. Id say bushnell is the best name brand you're going to get (at least better than barska and trueglo) for under $150 and im sure it'll be able to handle the recoil from a .22lr.

Check around on midwayusa and amazon and all those other sites for reviews from people that have actually used it.

  2. I'm familiar with this scope, and for a .22 cal I guess it's ok, but not my choice for a hunting scope.

I prefer a regular scope, 4 power with a 1" tube for maximum light entry, and duplex cross hairs.

A red dot is fine for target and many hunters use them with no problem, but I've hunted for over 60 years and this is my preference.

One size does not fit all, it's all what you like and desire, so whatever you choose, goodluck and good hunting.  By the way, squirrel is my favorite game, and I use a .32cal, Traditions, black powder rifle, patch and ball for them.
