Braylen and Braylu? Is it too babyish? Do you think its an ok name for an adult? Do either sound creative, or, proper, or what?

I think braylen is a nice name for a boy or a girl and i knew a person named braylu and constantly confused the two, but now i am thinking about baby names and ran across the two.

I like braylen as a boy's name. Braylu is a bit on the goofy side so no to that one.

Braylen is a pretty unique name... I would use it more for a girl though. Braylu is a little weird, but remember it is your baby.

I think they are both horrible, they are not appropriate on a resume or for an adult and they don't sound creative at all.  Just uber trendy and eventually really dated.  If you love them, please keep them as a middle name only.

I like Braylen..I like different.  I am not sure about the Braylu name...they have to live with it you know.  I would think otherwise on that one.  How about Bradiee, or just Bray.  I also like Barrie for a girl.  I think that is different.

I am not trying to be mean, just practical, and you did ask.  Bray makes me think of the sound a mule/jackass makes.  Sorry, perhaps rethink.  Just my opinion.

I vote for Braylen!  It's a good name!

Braylu sounds kiddish to me!  Like a bad child nickname.

While Braylen is definitely a good balance of unique without being off the wall, I think it is dated for this current generation. Everyone seems to name their kid something that ends with "en" or "on" nowadays: Jayden, Brayden, Aiden, Hayden, Layden, Payten, Leighton, Braxton, Landon, Jorden, etc.

Braylen looks more feminine and Braylon looks more masculine.

I hope this was helpful, and while I do advise people to please keep their child's days in elementary school in mind where they are susceptible to being made fun of for their names, it is still your child and your choice so go with what you think is best!

I love the name Braylen!! For a boy you could spell it Braylen and for a girl get creative and spell it Braylynn! I think that both sound like very creative names and I dont think they are too babyish. Plus if they seem babyish there are always other nicknames and such as some will go by middle names or initials like BJ and what not. I think they are both adorable! Congrats!

I can understand how Braylu could get confused with Braylen.

Braylen is a much nicer name than Braylu. Braylu has two strong vowels - AY and OO - and it's just not very easy to say. It doesn't roll off the tongue like Braylen.

But I think Braylen is a great name and the nickname Bray is awesome for a boy or a girl. Nice choice! =)
