  1. should fined more

  2. some of us will find the punishment too harsh, but i think it underlined the point that Cricket as a game is much bigger than an individual, no matter how talented he may be.

  3. nothing

  4. I think fine is too harsh. shreesanth walk over just with a warning. They should ban him at least one ipl match. For Bhaji 5 games were ok ,but by suspending him for rest of the season, match refree just over reacted.

    Unfair to Bhaji.

  5. In the light of all the soap opera  - he got away lightly so far.

I wish BCCI will punish him further and make more clear rules

and send a clear message such actions will never ever

tolerated. It does not matter how important that player is to the

team. The actions what he did - could have easily led to a life

ban. But in that regard he got it very light. The problem of him

is not that he started lately - it has been there since he has

been playing or even he started. His problems got started at

NCA in Banglore in 2000. He is a problematic player and that

is the risk the admins took and he is making them pay for it.

Now they are in a limbo - but should be in a good position to

take a serious action and live with it.

Not only him - there is more aggression - the kind of

aggression is different of what other players talk about. This

Indian team has youth and with it they have gotten into

trouble some attitude and aggression - add to it the mixture

of sledging - there you go a nice cocktail which can explode

much further than anyones beliefs. Hence it is important for

BCCI to take serious action and clearly warn and implement

those warnings. Just warning alone is not sufficient - but they

need to apply. Now is the time to apply on all such players

including Bhajji, Sreesanth, Irfan, Yuvraj, Zaheer, Gambhir,

Raina and few others. All these named players - have trouble

some aggression, but no one wants to talk about it....

Either deal with them now or be sorry later.

  6. Okay Boys & Girls;

First - The 2008 IPL is new drama in the cricket history. Think as a part of the serial and do not know where they are going.

Second – The 2008 IPL are specifically designed and orchestra such way so that owner make money or take some right off (Taxation) in their income. Such as all the bollywood celebrities, all the capital vultures (ooops ….. I mean CV – Capital Ventures like Ambani etc). These people are the real puppet masters and they are biggest lobbyist in politics within ICC and BCCI. Governing bodies are also very greedy and some of the individual are now multi-millions. So only people get hurts are younglings’ cricketers. (Watch out Virat Kohli, Ajay Jadeja, Piyush Chawala ….)

Third - whether you ban Bhaji, Shrisanth, Symonds, Akhtar, etc for 5 years or life time, it does not matter. These vultures can always find another Bhaji, Symonds etc with the lure of money ($$$$)

Fourth - It all comes down to us as a general public, who like to see these kind of altercations, and media make sure they published these kind of nonsense very first.

Final – For IPL or any contest in the world, as long as people have money to see and can afford to watch these kinds of fun and entertainment, (well … I am one of them), and then these vultures can deliver very exciting and thrilled entertainment.

So long live ________. Fill in the blank. (Vultures OR Cricket)

  7. yeah punishment is must then only the players wont do tat again. BCCI did good job

  8. i think bhajji also said something to match referee. and he ban for 13 matches.

why was bcci quite on earlier incident in australia, even they backed bhajji and changed the decision on that time, bcoz bcci need him a lot at that time .

  9. I think it is too lenient.  He should have been banned from playing cricket for 5 years.  Heck, ban Sreesanth too.  Players like these may be talented but problematic.  The BCCI deserves this after what happened in Australia.  Bhajji has been a problem for a long time but they kept pushing it under the carpet.  Sooner or later there will be no rrom under the carpet.  That is exactly what happened.  I hope that for the betterment of cricket, the BCCI will draw a hard line which the players shouldn't cross.

  10. It was a bit too harsh.

+ Sreeshanth should have been fined some too.

Cannot believe he said what they say he did, in an innocent manner.

And a whole lot of lies in his own language too.Taking advantage of his State.

    Something was not right.

  11. I think it is EXCELLENT....Not only banned for 11 matches but he is also loosing $850,000 in the process....

BUT do remember he still has to answer to the BCCI president too, lets hope he gets a bit more c**p from them also....

  12. i am a fan of India but it was wrong of him to hit a guy that is saying good game but he just him him i think the peole are gone suspend him for a year of so

  13. Eh?.
