Who has a better future

Ellsbury or Alexei Ramirez ?

ramirez. just look at the numbers. ok so alot of people dont think first year numbers are that important, well fine, lets have a look in the minors. ellsbury was fine, doing just the right amount as a normal college prospet would, but ramirez was playin ball in cuba, and banging that. ok he hit  .338 and 20 homers with cuba, which led the league. ellsbury has been good, but not great. he might someday sneak into an allstar game, but maybe 1 or 2 and definitely never a hall of famer. he is good, but not great. alexei could do very well and could well be a 2-4 time all star if he keeps up the good work. we will see in the next few years, but i dont see ramirez being hall of fame worthy.but hey thats just me and im sure ill be a sox fan saying "ellsbury is the next Ty Cobb........well maybe not that far. o and a last side note i forgot to mention how fast ellsbury is, ok he is very fast and has like 40 something stolen bases, while ramirez has like 10 i think, so i though i might throw that in there

I see Ellsbury as a certain multiple All Star in his career.  Hall of Fame?  He has the talent and ability, but so many other factors enter into it like longevity and press relations.

Ellsbury. He'll eventually improve his average which leads to more HRs and SB

im sorry but alexei ramirez has proven NOTHING in the majors except his fielding. Jacoby all the way on this one. speed, avegeragem contact, fielding. everything an all star leadoff hitter is:]

I can see Ellsbury as all three. He's consistent with his hitting and AWESOME in his fielding. That man will dive 6 feet under or over to catch a ball, he's amazing.

Ellsbury he's and Indian so hes fast he good at stealing bases and he hits fairly well

in two years we could see an all star and maybe in 10-12 years a Mvp/hall of famer
