McCain talkd of Obama's inexperience in running this country but he go and chooses a VP, who is a heart beat away from presidency as his running mate. A VP who oversees Alaska, the smallest populated state in the US and before that a town called Wasilla, which had less than 9,000 ppl. She is unaware of dealing with such a vast portion of citizens as well as foriegn policies. She has done a great deal of change in Alaska's gov't but, that's Alaska. How willshe hold up dealing with all 50 states with less than 2yrs of governmental service behind her.

I'm not sure if i'm voting this time. I don't like McCain and I'm not goin to vote for Obama cuz we share the same skin color, their views r fukd, the sad part is, they are our only choices!

what do u think of McCain's choice? (u can input on Obama's VP choice as well.)

  1. The choice is not a 'maverick' but a conservative one to bring the evangelicals back into the fold, to lure disenfranchised female independents, and because she knows she owns three houses. Leadership is not only a personal attribute but also surrounding yourself with wise intelligent people who can help you make intelligent decisions. Just like Donald Rumsfeld helped President Bush in accomplishing his personal mission of bringing Democracy to Iraq. I do not like McCain's choice because I do not think she will help him make wise choices based her views which according to the LA Times she is against abortion even in cases of rape and incest, sued the federal government to take polar bears off the endangered species list, has said creationism should be taught in schools and advocated a constitutional ban on providing healthcare benefits to same-s*x partners.

  2. I think is was a d**n smart political move...

I see what he was trying to do, a little bit of change, and look! She's a woman! However, even thought Obama has little experience, he has substantially MORE experience than Palin. She hasn't done squat on the national circuit yet. And it's an insult to the intelligence of Hillary's supporters to think, "ooh! a female running mate! they'll certainly vote for me now!"

    It doesn't work that way.

This has either won him the election, or lost it completely because people aren't as stupid as he'd like to think we are.

And to like her because she's a soccer mom? Old fashioned "American pie?" We do NOT need the middle american dream right now. It's time to step out of the 50s and into the new millenium, and that involves getting rid of that "home grown American like apple pie" mentality. That's what f**ked us up in the first place.

    Obama/Biden 08

  3. She has 12 years of executive experience.  Dont know why people keep saying she is Inexperienced.  So far, I like her.  Great pick

  4. I think McCain's choice is okay. I would rather him pick Romney but I think he has a better chance of winning in the election with Sarah Palin. He is trying to get Hillary's votes by picking a woman. As for being not experienced it is way less of a big deal to have an inexperienced vice president rather then a president. Obama hasn't done anything. I would never vote for Obama!!

But...I'm too young to vote anyways haha.

  5. She is Alaska's governor. Alaska is a state.

  6. I learned this in my History Honors class today and I was surprised!

I didn't think the teacher was serious at first.

It's mostly a game, Obama picked Biden for his experience and McCain picked Palin because shes a women. They both want to sway voters. When i look at Biden VS Palin, I'd have to go with Palin, also shes not a mean old ***** like Hillary.

I agree its sad that we don't have more than 2 major politcal parties, but this is The United States. Every four years you just have to pick the best of two evils!

  7. Alaska has many mayors, only one Gov. though and that is who he asked.

I love McCains choice, a true Washington outsider.

  8. do you know the difference between mayor and governor...i guess "Head Start" really isnt working is it.

  9. I'm not too crazy about either candidate's VP choices.

  10. Elated he just killed any chance at getting elected.  Nobody will want Sarah as the president of the US in the event he strokes out.

  11. She actually has more executive experience than Obama (a community organizer who usually votes present on bills) and Biden put together.

  12. mayor of alaska?   lol

obama and biden have never been in charge of any government

  13. McCain has made a winning choice. There will be no Dems in the White House this time around.

  14. Alaska's Governor has 14 years of government service, and is the only candidate on either ticket with executive experience outside the military.  The governor of Alaska routinely negotiates with the governments of Russia and Canada over issues of oil, fishing rights, trade, and transportation, so she brings more foreign negotiating experience than does Senator Obama.

Senator McCain made a very smart choice.

  15. What your first poster said...

...but with more dramatic music, accent lighting, and an American Flag background.

    Well spoken Wise One!

  16. She doesn't seem to have much concern about NATIONAL issues.  It's fine that she not a Washington insider, but I'm just not sure she wants the responsibility of the national spot lite.  It seems she just took it because she was asked and not really thinking of what the impact on the American people would be if she indeed would need to step in and become the president of the United States.

Bush was a governor of a state too.  Bad choice.  McSame & Pale End.  No Way.  No How.

  17. It shows how desperate he is for votes!!!

    LMAO

  18. I think she's a VPCILF

  19. Palin is a Great choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (and future President)! It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick & genius who picks likewise!

    Palin:

    * has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

    * is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence & Alaskan drilling

    * has actually been leading people for the past several years, while Obama & Biden have been leading NO one!

    * shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

    * will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

    * is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

    * ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

    * is the mother of 5 kids!

    * has had her son deploy to Iraq

    * is for a strong US defense

    * is an ice fisherman

    * is a moose hunter

    * is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

    McCain/Palin '08

    Peace

  20. I think stupid people like to choose the wrong reasons to like her.

    "She's a mother of 5 children"

    "She's a former pageant queen"

    "She's a moose hunter"

    "She's a hockey mom"

    "She's pretty"

These things have NOTHING TO DO with being a good vice president.  I wish these people weren't so stupid.

  21.   Ingenius !

  22. You forgot the part about how she deals with Canada and Russia, as governor.  As to your question; what's the difference.  Obama - no experience.  Palin - no experience.  Biden - years in senate.  McCain - years in senate.  Both parties have lined themselves up with the same disadvantages.  So it is down to who do you believe, and who do you think will be able to do what they promised.

  23. Dem's put up man with zero experience as the Presidential pick & now the complain about a women with more experience than him as a VP candidate...not too smart at all.

BTW: she's the Governor of Alaska, get informed before you ask questions ;)
