  1. I've used redken, and while I won't say it isn't a good product, I've had much better success with John Frieda, at about half the cost.  I have naturally curly hair, and it's therefore pretty dry and prone to damage.  It takes me about 6 months to develop split ends since I started using John Frieda, so...if you haven't tried it yet, give it a go!  I only use the shampoo and conditioner, no extras.

Otherwise, you haven't really told us anything about your hair needs, so I don't really know which redken product you should go with...one can safely assume start with shampoo and conditioner... ??  :)

    Good luck!

  2. I have to say that I have been a big fan of Redken products since they first started in the early 1970's.  They have had some incredibly wonderful products that have done miracles.  However, as all companies, they have been bought out by someone else, and the products have suffered.  Some of the really best are no longer being produced.

That said, I believe it is still a great company.  I still love their basic line, and there is no comparison with drugstore shelf products.  I don't think you will have a problem with any of their products.  All companies produce such a variety of lines to satisfy everyone, so you may have to try a few to find that one that really works for you.  We are all different in our requirements.

Since this is a new product for you, I can't honestly say what effect it will have for you.  All I can suggest is that you try it.  Of course, you don't want to shell out a lot of money (and any quality line of products are going to be pricey), see if you can get a sample of the product.  Most of the time, they do produce smaller containers to introduce the line, or have "purse size" packages.  See if you can get that.  Sometimes the sales outlet will have individual-use sizes available too.

Please be sure to follow directions exactly.  The biggest problem with any product often is the person doing what they've always done and then not being satisfied.  One thing I have found is that most people use way too much of a product.  If you are used to a drugstore conditioner, you will find now you only need a tiny amount in comparison.  Remember that cheaper lines usually have little helpful ingredients so you need more to make any difference, but in the end, the cost will be almost the same.  Check with qualified beauty operators if you are not sure about how to use anything.  It's always best to ask anyway.

  3. get it. but have you tried pantene before? It makes your hair really shinny and smooth if you use it everyday!

  4. i bought the All soft Shampoo, conditioner and Heavy Cream.  i was so excited to try them. after 2 weeks i saw no difference. and went back to the mall and bought

Alfaparf - Semi de Lino Diamente - Illuminations Shamp, and Conditionner,  & bought the RedKen Blonde GLam, pure Pearl - deep conditionner... and i am very satisfied..

Unfortunatly, the Red Ken All Soft stayed in the drawers  and i asked my boyfriend to finish them..

dont wast money on this RedKen line.. if u r blonde do invest in their Blonde GLam Deep Conditionner, ITS AMAZING

and the Alfaparf, is expensive... but so worth it.

hope i was helpful with all the details

  5. 1 , 2 , and 3 are worth all the money but not the velvey whip .

It made my hair TOO soft , and too oily .

If you want something to make your hair Soft,

Go with the Pantene Smooth collections .

it can be found at drug stores .

and it works as well if not better than the salon products triple the pirce .

    I GUARANTEE , it'll be worth the 10 - 15 dollars .
