What do u think of hungary?

I love Hungary. My husband of 34 years is Hungarian and escaped back in 71' and we met in Cal.

We are in Hungary now and even purchased a flat in Budapest for our retirement in a few years time.

The economy is bad here but we work in the states and only come here for the summers.

The prices have gotten very high here on everything just since last year.

It is still a beautiful place, they can't take that away.

I find most of the people friendly and open with me of course i am open to them too.

I think I will like living here permenatly when we are able to retire although I still would have to go back to the states every other year or so to see our son.That is the only down side for me, not having my son live here.He lived here for a year awhile back but too hard to make money for young people.

It´s an interesting country with a beautiful capital Budapest. Budapest is divided by the river Danube.The one part of the capital is called Buda and the other Pest. The people are quite nice.

The country is nowadays a member of the European Union, which certainly must be a relief after so many years under the communistic regime of the Soviet Union. The country is slowly getting a rather good economy.

I think Hungary certainly is a very interesting country to visit.

i don't agree with the good economy thing.

It's quite cheap to eat and drink but all the other prices are the same as in England..

the people are usually not happy, and 90% doesn't speak any english.

its nice go for a wekend.

belive me im hungarian, but 20 years was enough
