What do u think of my makeup routine?

Question

So when i get ready for school or going somewhere, i usually wear :

i want to use a bronzer, but im not sure what kind i would get? any suggestions? I am starting school in 2 weeks and i wanna have a good makeup routine :)

Well first covergirl is a really good makeup line so thats good.

the only thing is, im not sure if you need that much face makeup..

maybe a light foundation and concealer when you need it...

or just the press powder.

Too much base makeup makes you look fake.

Physicians Formula has really good powder bronzers..

Use it over your foundation ..or by itself :) !

it's not a bad start, but you would be better off without the foundation as it tends to be a look for older women, and maybe loose powder instead of pressed, but that's only my preference because i find it gets rid of shine easier. instead of bronzer you might want to go for a browny blush, it just looks a bit more natural.

that sounds good. maybe ditch the foundation, press powder, or concealer stick. just one though because you don't want to look too plastic.

wait wait too much make up just use mascara eyeliner and lipgolss

I think its fine. Don't forget to wash and moisturize your face prior to applying liquid foundation to ensure a smooth look. Just make sure it looks natural.

first of all, how old are you?? different make-ups can ruin ur skin....................................... yah, i can add more details if you like tell me how old u are and if you have like good skin type and stuff. thats just plain out alot of makup

You use the same makeup as me!!!

But maybe you should just use the concealer where needed & the pressed powder only. or the conealer wiht the foundation.

You shouldnt wear more makeup than needed. OR use the foundation with a translusent powder, once that has no color to set it and reduce shine. (thats what i use)

i either wear powder or liquid but not both at the same time

BUT it it works for you & doesnt look like you have a bunch of makeup then continue it, no on here can tell you whats best for you.

i LOVE mascara. You dont even really need eyeliner if you wear masacara. But i still like to wear eyliner at times since it outlines the eye. but wear the eyeliner on the top lid not so much on the bottom.

but you have one the best makeup routines & use some of the best makeup brands ive read in here. its very natural.

FOR bronzer, i would suggest Physicians Formula. They have a few to choose from with different shades. Go with the lightest one. Dont use a alot, barely put any on your brush and lightly sweep with soft strokes it on your cheekbones a tiny bit on your nose and your forhead. I like this brand better than Mayballine and the other brand si used. There are also cream brozers which are usually better for darker compexions

But you dont really need bronzer & the days you wear bronzer just wear the liquid foundation and the bronzer or just the bronzer by its self because if you use the othe rpowder you fake wil look cakey and powdery.

LESS IS MORE & YOUR MAKEUP WILL LOOK DIFFERENT IN THE SUNLIGHT THAN IN YOUR HOUSE.

also it takes a few minutes for makeup to blend into the skin and cover everything so dont cake it on at first. use a little at first then wait a minute apply more if needed.

If youre going to use bronzer, use bronzer no more than 3 shades darker than your natural skin tone.

Apply it to your cheekbones, jawline, the bridge of your nose, and across your hairline at your forehead.

Only apply a little bit at a time.

Its easy to apply, but hard to remove.

So if you put too much on, its hard to remove it.

Be careful.

Also, I think using concealer and pressed powder is enough.

If youre using concealer, I dont think theres really any need to wear liquid foundation,

Also, using too much foundation or concealer can make your face look cakey.
