i just moved from africa and i would like to make friends.i have been in the states for 6 months now and i was told myspace is a good place to make friends.

It shows that all of your friends are black.

I woulnt ever make friends on myspace. you will grow to notice that it is a bunch of drama. I keep mine very intimate, and will never exceed 70 or so people.

plus, mine is private. i would think about doing that to yours too

well first you already have a lot of friends...maybe you should change that song...its weak it doesnt go w/ the layout or you just need to change your layout to pink to match that g*y *** song lol good luck

myspace is a good idea, however do not plan on meeting people a whole lot, it's more of a stay in touch website, they all are.

it is probably a good idea to only establish online relationships with people you know personally, other wise how can you be sure your really talking too?

if you want to meet new people, go out more, you don't need the internet.

Myspace is seen as a cheap, children's social networking system with a history of privacy and security flaws.  Pages on Myspace tend towards the extreme end of ugly and difficult to navigate.

It is, however, unfortunately popular.

There are much better ways to gain friends, all of them firmly based in the real world.  Go out, get social hobbies (sports are great!), and meet real people.

On the internet it is very difficult to trust anything anyone says about themselves; it is simply too easy to lie.
