How come everyone likes that name I think its so ugly! It reminds me of a little irish girl with red hair that plays the bagpipes, and is really greasy! Its a really new trendy name but I hate it! What do u think?

I don't like it at all. I would hate to be named that and the parents naming their daughters this will find that out in a few years. They're trying to be original but they're all naming their kids the name thing. Might as well name her Brittany or Ashley, at least she'll have a normal name. Not that I like those names but it's funny how people that claim to be unique and talk bad about normal, classic names end up having a kid with a name that tons of other kids have too.

I don't like it either, I always see a girl skipping around and playing a pipe when I think of the name. I think the only reason people like that name is becuase of the actress Piper Perabo. But that's just my opinion.

Firstly, Bagpipes are scottish.

And red hair is considered scottish too.

I like the name.

I don't like it on kids either. I had a cat called Piper. He was Irish (as am I ), had red hair, but didn't play the bagpipes.

I'm pretty sure bagpipes are Scottish by the way... :)

I think it's the cutest name! When I first heard the name it was very uncommon and unique, that's what made it special. Then it became a craze so it's not that great anymore, but I think of a bouncy little girl when I hear the name because I used to watch a girl named Piper who was so adorable!

I love the name! I think of a spunky, cute little girl with dark brown pigtails. It's an adorable name, in my opinion.

Wouldn't it be scottish that play bagpipes? Do you have something against red headed irish girls? I hate the name piper.

it goes well with an animal but it's alright for a person when I think Piper, I say Peter Piper
