What do u think of refurbished digital cameras (@ amazon n generally too) ?

Refurbished items are stock that the seller returns to the manufacture for credit. The items are new its just that the manufacture cannot resell them again as new. Reconditioned  are items that are defective that the seller sends back to the manufacture who then fixes them and sells them as reconditioned.

I've bought several items that were refurbished on and through amazon. I've been quite lucky!

Try looking for an open box item those are usually new but have been returned to the store.
