What do u think of the name Elocyn?

My name is Nycole so we want to name our baby Elocyn if its a girl (Nycole backwards). We say it like Ellison and I like the nicname Elly. Do u like it and what is a good middle name to go with it?

Thats pretty cute but at first it didn't sound right to me until you mention how you pronounce it.  I know this girl named Nimsay, Yasmin (her mother's name) backward. How about Marie for a middle name Congrats!

My first thought was how the heck do you pronounce that?  She'll have to go through her whole life explaining that to people. I like Ellison and Elly but the spelling Elocyn is kinda cooky. But your the mom, it's your decision no matter what people say. Middle name- Rose, Michelle, Payton, Brielle. Congrats!

I mean in theory, ok, yay, a little lame, but doable, but in reality, people are going to say El-OH-Sin, not Ellison. You'll be telling people how to say it. The kid will be telling people how to say it. It'll be a mess. Plus, visually, it's ugly.

Before I read your explanation of the name I wasn't too fond of it. Now I can see that it's not a made up name, it's a different spelling. I like the name Ellison, but this spelling is a little hard to pronounce. However, it is very creative. If you're going with this spelling I like Elocyn Ann, Elocyn Marie, Elocyn Grace, Elocyn Rose, and Elocyn Nicole for middle names.
