  1. This is just my opinion: I don't like it.  It's not too old-fashioned - it's too cutesy. It's one of those names that will sound a little silly as soon as the kid is over 3 years old. Think of it this way: your child will be a baby for only a small portion of his life, but he'll be an adult for the vast majority of it. Don't pick a name that is 'cute for a baby' unless you can imagine a 35-year-old teacher/doctor/businessperson/etc with that name. Maybe you can use "Alfie" as a nickname.

  2. No offy but it sounds like an old mans name ;)

  3. I love it!! It's supercute!!

  4. It reminds me of my brown fuzzy toy from my childhood, you know Alf, there was also an electronic toy computer/robot called Alfie in the '80s

  5. I think

Alfie is one of the cutest names going

It is an old name but all the old names are coming back into fashion

I love the name Alfie , if you like it , I say go for it

    xx

  6. I hate it

  7. I don't quiet like it.

  8. i like the name Alfie, its becoming quite popular.

  9. it is not cute sorry but that is my opinion

  10. i think it is kind of cute.

It is also a name that would be cute throughout his life, and he can't outgrow it or be too young for it.  I really like, just keep it Alfie though and NO Alfred.  I hate the name alfred.

  11. Kate Winslet's son's middle name is Alfie. I think it's really cute... it reminds me of the movie Alfie though. That's okay.

The only thing is, I see Alfie as more of a nickname for Alfonso or Alfred. If you don't like either of those names though... I still think Alfie is cute. =)

    Good luck!
