  1. JUST PLAY SOME FREAKIN DEFENSE!!!!!!

  2. I think they will be better. They have the whole summer for SHAQ to blend on their system. Boris Diaw and Barbosa should be well trained coming from the Olympics (They're still young, need those exposures to toughen up). Amare will be fresh. Nash will still be th double double guard in terms of points and assist.

Their bench will be a close call. If they still start Raja, that means the either Barbosa or Diaw will start which is good for their team.

All in all, they will be better. I can't wait to see the Suns versus the Lakers game.

    Thanks.

  3. The Sun's Future?

It Rises In The East And Sets In The West

(Whether You Want To Go Outside And Watch The Sun Or You Want To Watch The NBA For The Season) Same Result

  4. I hope O'Neal can help us out next year and I think he will but that's my opinion. I know that when we traded Marion and Banks to Miami we had to sort of change our type of game because O'Neal can't run & gun and that lost coach D'Antoni because he couldn't play the game he wanted to and I know that that is the reason he left. But with Porter I think that he will run & gun every once in a while but will of course focus on what he's best at. Defense. Many will say that nobody can develop that Suns to play great defense but I still have hope in them and think that they can. With Nash running the team, Bell still in the left corner playing 'D' and shooting his three, Barnes (New Signing) will definetley help us off the bench or starting whatever Porter thinks and his threes will come in handy for sure, then we got Stoudemire scoring his 30 points every game, the questioned Shaquille O'Neal shall be rebounding like crazy and I so think what he said is true. "I won't retire until I have a championship with the PHOENIX SUNS!!!!!!!"

  5. The Suns immediate future (2-3) years looks good.  However after that this team falls into a lottery team.  These are the players that will more than likely retire or just be too old to contribute like they currently do.  Nash, O'Neal, Hill, Bell, Giricek.  That's 4/5 of the starting lineup and their most consistent bench player.

Boris and Barbosa are too inconsistent to be given a starting role on any team.  If they haven't developed it yet, sorry chances are they never will.  Both have been in the league 5+ years now. The only positives this team has is the drafting of Robin Lopez (him and Amare should make a very reliable frontcourt for years to come) and the pretty much sure signing of guard Gordon Dragic when he can be released from his current international team.

  6. to me they don't have a bright future at all except for Barbosa and Amare

    those are there future players

When Shaq and Nash retire, they're out of the playoff race

  7. Suns future look pretty bright.  ;)

  8. They will be so much better this year. Shaq never was even givin a chance to succeed with the Suns it was insane and now everyone is like Suns suck Shaq sucks. Its so not true the Suns will come out and surprise everyone they will do amazing. They just need a back up point guard and more solid defenders

  9. they are cursed to never win a ring

  10. im a suns fan (sigh)

the future of our team lies in the hands of daryl strawberry, alando tucker, and boris diaw -don't get me wrong they could become good players but.... comparing them to the young talent of the blazers warriors hornets and even the lakers... well that self explanitory

the suns remind me of the mavs- teams that wont win don't wont to blow up their teams and start anew.

look at teams that have revamped their teams boston (champs)

blazers clippers even nets are looking toward lebron... i mean the future

not to mention the team's average age is 50

lets face it nash will not be ale to play at a high level for very much longer

will shaq lose weight and become more effective this year- not likley- plus 82 game season

grant hill staying healthy again maybe

we have a nice piece in barbosa but i have a good feeling with the new kerr regime i dont think the suns will have the same wide open lose cannon offense that made them so unique and effective in years past

the suns have made some serious mistakes that have lead to this point

the biggest was joe johnson being traded for ill fated picks and diaw who i admit is not that bad

    trading picks for cash

    losing rondo in the draft

during the summer of lebron in 2010 im afraid stat will be looking to move on

shaq trade may not have been that bad

with new defensive coach who knows maybe shaq can become a solid anchor on the team like he was supposed to be

plus if they kept marion and he left as a free agent they would have got nothing in return and would probably still been over the cap

plus they saved cash (some thing the suns love to do ) by getting rid of banks contract
