Pretty silly if you asked me.

Besides, the scientists who still believe humans cause global warming - and they're very few - say that the worst case scenario would be that sea levels may go up about foot over the next 100 years.   No real panic there.

I don't think that "lilypad" idea is of any use whatsoever, but they do look like Disneyland rides.  Maybe they can sell the plans to Disney.

It is a nice idea, however, the vessel has way too much draft.  It could easily run aground in most of the major oceans.  The vessel would be in huge trouble if it were sucked into the roaring 40s or the furious 50s.  

It looks like weird Epcot ride and I'll bet they too would charge $8.00 for a beer.
