What do u think of this exercise?

what do u think of this program for developing triceps and chest mucles? 4 sets of diamond pushups. first set 25 reps, second set 25 reps, third set 25 reps and the last set 25 reps. 1 minute rest between sets. is it for beginners or for pros? n do u think u can do it? thanks.

  1. i mean i wouldnt say pros or beginngers. its deffintily a good chest and tri workout. deffenitly keep it up. and next couple times u go do 30 a set so u build the muscle.

  2. Depends what you want. If you want toning and muscle endurance then it's good probably. Hypertrophy (increasing muscle bulk) is normally achieved by doing between 8 and 12 reps of an exercise. Strength requires higher weight or resistance, for lower reps ie 3 - 5. While one exercise can work several muscle groups, best results would come from different exercises for the chest (bench press etc), and triceps (skullcrushers, tricep press etc).
