What do u think of this lunch?

i had this lunch the other day. chinese rice at a cafeteria...wheres there a variety of cooked dishes which i can choose to go along with steamed rice.

this is what i had - sweet n sour pork cubes, stir fried potatoes, baked beans in tomato sauce. i also requested for some gravy topping on my rice

  1. Did that come from a soup kitchen because I think we need to help them out and give them something a little more yummy looking

    i mean you cant judge a book by it's cover. same goes to that "dish"

    it probably tastes good but im not too of a big fan of baked beans.

    but on the "pros" side i guess the sweet and sour pork cubes  looks good.

    maybe i wouldn't eat anything like this..

  6. I wouldn't necessarily eat that.  But if that's what YOU like, then you should go ahead and have it.  It's whatever you're in the mood for.

    Coming from an authentic chinese person, that whole plate is horrible for a number of reasons...

    1. Chinese rice should be sticky, not dry looking

    2 Sweet and sour pork looks like dog food a (cubed?)

    3.Stir fried potatoes look pale

    4. Beans, unless black and steamed with fish heads should not belong with that "chinese" dish combo

    5. Gravy...not really sure what color it is judging by the color of the rice

    If you want some really chinese food, it's not going to be at that cafeteria.

  14. its definitely not something i would eat. but i would be willing to try. only because i do not like baked beans. but it looks very good.
