For an amateur, not so bad.

The green is a weird choice, especially with it overlapping the "fire" part. Also changing the font would make it seem more empowering, the font you picked was a bit light and feminine. Why is the apple leaf green? It probably should be the same color as the the rest of the apple. Fire usually has a grounding point, your fire looks more like an explosion, was that what you were going for? And since the saying is about how Apple is so strong nothing can destroy it, the apple probably should remain white with the fire around it, giving the viewer the allusion that despite the fire, the loco remains perfect.

very nice except...it took me a while to figure out what the 3rd word was because the 't' in tough blends in with the background

Pretty good. I really like how you used colors that looked good when blended together. Nice effects too by the way.
