What do u think of this program?

what do u think of this program for developing triceps and chest mucles? 4 sets of diamond pushups. first set 25 reps, second set 25 reps, third set 25 reps and the last set 25 reps. 1 minute rest between sets. is it for beginners or for pros? n do u think u can do it? thanks.

  1. sounds good but you need to do more than just push-ups. do other exercises like sit-ups, reverse sit-ups, knees to elbows, air squats, squat-thrusts, air lunges, box jumps, jump-rope, run (long distance and sprints), try push-ups with a fist on your knuckles, try push-ups elevated on planks of wood under your fist and feet, if you lift at all use low weights but do one set of 50 straight through instead of multiples of 10.   2. Thats a decent little program, I wouldn't go as far as saying its a good program for pros but if it works for you then its good. Every person will respond differently so don't worry about what I think or anyone else. The important thing here is that you are doing something.

    However I do recommend that you add dips to your program, you will work both muscle groups that you are working on with very nice results. Much better then push ups alone but works best when combined. This is how you get that long definition that Arnold has from lots of dips.
