i have a gyno app in just over a week i do not get my period only 2 times a yr went to the docs as i thought i i might have been preg because i started getting cramps like my period was there and bad nausea and fatigue and a feeling in my belly button that went all the way down to my bladder and made me want to pee all the time sometimes hardly anything come out though. i did three preg tests about 5 weeks after what i thought might have been possible conception come back neg (i cant check after period due as i hardly get them) my last period was 3 weeks before the possible conception, went to the docs no tests or anything but is sending me to a gyno because he thinks i have PCOS, do u think he right? i havent had a regular period for 7 yrs and this is the first time i have ever got these symptoms. the gyno is goin to give me and ultrasound if i was to be preg would it come up on there? i am still getting all these symptoms everyday for the last 4 weeks and if i was preg i would be about 8weeks im am not worried or stressed about it i was just wondering.

  1. Ultra sounds can pick up even if you are only a week or two. My friend found out she was two weeks pregnant when the test was hard to read. They were able to tell right away

  2. Hello!  I'm sorry about having to deal with irregular periods -- I'm in the same boat.  Getting an ultrasound done will be very useful -- they will be able to determine whether you are pregnant, or if you have PCOS, or both.

Several of your symptoms do sound like early pregnancy symptoms.  However, typically you will actually pee a fair amount along with that urge to pee frequently (this is because the pregnant body increases its blood volume in preparation for the placental and embryonic blood flow, so your kidneys are processing more fluid overall).

I hope this week of waiting until your appt goes by quickly, and that you get the answers you're hoping for.  Good luck to you!
