  1. sounds like a bad converter

  2. I'd try changing the transmission fluid and filter , plus keep in mind that there is probably a technical engineering update for that vehicle that requires reprogramming or what they call flashing and it runs about 60 bucks.Another key issue here is that Dodge uses a special chemical addictive in their transmission fluids that wear out and that can and will cause shuttering or even kicking or jerking.

Also keep in mind that finding small metal particles in the transmission is normal and even if the old fluid smells burnt or like a burnt cigar don't panic bec that doesn't mean for sure the transmission is shot,it could be just bec the transmission ran a bit hot at some point.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way be sure to use the exact transmission filter kit and factory suggested transmission filter in that vehicle and if getting the filter and fluid changed be sure you either bring the right transmission fluid with you or watch them so you know the right fluid and filter was used.

I'd be changing the gas filter too and checking the air filter but I'm sure once you change fluid and filter plus get the comp flashed that you'll problem will be solved.

  3. fuel filter, plug wires, plugs?

  4. Start of transmission problems. having the tranny flused and cleaned might be a quick fix.
