What do u use the points for?

Points promote participation. They allow you to ask, answer, vote even more! To be able to brag some. Last December, we did get stuff if we signed up, depending on our levels, like coffee mugs, sweaters, hats.

Pretty much nothing.  About all you get from points is getting to different levels with more allowable features.  Click on the points next to your name, and you'll find a chart explaining just what points gives you what privileges.  But there's nothing else you can do with the points.

it cost you 5 points to ask a question.......   so you need to get the pts to 'spend' the pts.  Also....  last year they gave a gift according to the level you were on....   I got a cute YA spongie sticker for my car......    others got a YA coffee mug, others a T-shirt. etc.

I'm saving mine up for a  microwave oven. I only need 12000 more points and that puppy's mine.
