  1. I am vegan.  I eat everything that omnivores eat, except I replace meat with non-meat items like faux meat.

I make my chili with Light Life Ground.  It's textured vegetable protein (TVP) that tastes surprisingly like meat.

I use the TVP in anything else that calls for ground beef like tacos and sloppy joes.

We use soy, rice, and nut milks to replace regular milk.  We use soy and rice cheese to replace regular cheese.

There is a wide variety of vegetarian "meats" available.  There are smart dogs, faux burgers (boca, morningstar farms, light life, and sunshine burgers), and so on.

I also enjoy fresh vegetables and fruit often.

It may seem to an outsider that we don't have many options, but that is a myth and a misconception.  Just google vegan recipes and you will be surprised what a selection that we actually have.

  2. Vegans eat more than fruits, veggies, and grains.  You are thinking of a raw vegan.  I eat great.  I have protein shakes.  I eat beans, vegetarian chili, cereals, breads, pasta, seeds, nuts, salads, and fruits and veggies.

  3. There r a lot of variates of food available for vegetarians.

Its a big myth that they have only limited choice.

Particularly Indians are very good in veg food. If u want to know about some dishes just visit

  4. rocks and dirt

  5. I just graze on the front lawn.

  6. It is easyer to tell you what they don't eat they do  not eat anything that is animal, eggs, milk, cheese, no animal at all what  ever comes out of an animal

  7. We eat fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, seed, herbs, spices, select fungi, and oils... plus everything made with them.  It's really not limited at all.  Any dish you can think of that you like, I can make vegan.  Soups, stews, sandwiches, casseroles, curries, wraps, stir fries... personally, my diet is every bit as varied as a vegan than it ever was as a meat-eater.

  8. Fruits, vegetables, grains, beans and legumes nuts, seeds, and flowers, are all part of the vegan diet as well as products made from these things.

Many people are surprised at how many things are vegan when you really think about it.  There are all sorts of things that are vegan or can easily be made with vegan ingredients.

Vegan meat and dairy substitutes are a very big business right now and they provide everything from vegan margarine and mayonnaise to vegan sausage links and tofurky holiday roasts.

  9. I think you basically answered your own questions, although there are a lot of bread products they can't eat as well.

Basically just fresh fruit and produce, and maybe some whole grain, unprocessed flour products.

    That's about it.

  10. That assumption is not entirely true. My diet is more varied now as a vegan than when it was when I ate meat.

We can eat beans, legumes, fruit, veggies, and grains. There is also tofu, tempeh, seitan and various other meat-like items out there that are nutritious and filling (without all the fat and cholesterol that comes from animals).

  11. Your question contains the answer to your question.  They eat fruits, vegetables, and grains.  There are also products on the market that "fake" the other foods.  Soy cheese, soy milk, veggie burgers, etc.

  12. There are lots of food to eat for example

    brown rice

    couscous

    pasta

    toast

    quinoa

    barley

    salad

and us vegans have come up with many different ways to cook these dishes

  13. Foods that contain no slaughtered animal or slaughter by products. The main foods are water, fruits, vegetables, nuts (almonds cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc), beans (black, pinto, baked, kidney, etc), seeds (flax, sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, hemp, etc), soy products (tofu, TVP, tempeh, fortified soy milk, miso, etc.) pulses, whole grains, quinoa, seiten, nutritional yeast, cereals, chickpea, seaweed, lentils, & vegetable, hemp, and flaxseed oils, plant meats, and plant milks.
