  1. Totally depends on the vegetarian.

Some eat everything but red meat, some don't eat meat but don't consider fish or eggs to be meat, some only eat pickles and ice cream. Basically, if you can make up a goofy reason for your eating habits, you can be a vegetarian.

  2. The typical vegetarian diet (although often confused with) is all dairy products, eggs, fish, and poultry.  However, some vegetarians are more picky and may eat NO meat whatsoever but still eat animal bi-products; vegans only consume food that does not come from or contain any animal.  Hopefully this will help!!!!

  3. i recently became a veg too, haha! well, a vegetarian can eat dairy and stuff but not any meat or anything that actually harmed the animals. If you want to eat all that and fish, yuo would be considered a pescetarian which is a certain type of  a veg, but yes it is technically still a vegetarian.

  4. It depends on the individual vegetarian.  Strict vegetarians, or vegans, do not eat any meat or any animal products such as dairy and eggs.  Some vegetarians eat white meat but not red meat.  Some eat dairy, eggs, and/or fish.  Some eat seafood but not meat.

I eat dairy and eggs, but not meat or fish.  If I see a dish that looks good but has meat in it, I will order the dish and scoot the meat off to the side if it's big enough to pick out.  I also ate veggies cooked in duck blood once, but that's a long story.  I didn't think it tasted good.

  5. vegetarians do not eat dairy or meat.

that's why they are called VEGEtarians.

  6. vegetarians eat- fruits, vegetables, and dairy

vegans dont eat anything that comes from a animal.

  7. Vegetarians do not eat animals.

Chickens, fish, shrimp and clams are all animals.

If you want to eat dairy and eggs, that is up to you but I'd recommend cutting down on them if you are against cruelty to animals.

If you are a new vegetarian, there are many things that you should learn ASAP.

Bread, pasta, cereal, rice, beans, peas, lentil, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies can easily offer everything that you need except B12.

All vegetarians should take a B12 supplement regularly since most people eat meat, dairy AND fortified cereals yet still have a B12 status that is lower than recommended.

It may help you if you see proof that vegetarians have the same potential as anyone else.

  8. i am a vegan and personally i think harming any animal is wrong (including fish) but taking dairy products don't usually harm them. unless you are sure that the product was taken with abuse to the animal, i'd say that eggs, yogurt, milk ,ice cream etc. is okay.

being a vegan, i choose to eat all organic substances because of my beliefs, but it all really depends on you and what you feel is right and wrong.

note that how ever you choose to live, its always good to consult a family physician what with being a 13 and all.

however, you should not let anything influence you exept your own morals and beliefs.

    good luck,

  10. permanent vegetarians eat everything except meat and fish, but they drink milk, eat egg

if you just want to be a vegetarian eater for just 1 day to 9 days then you should avoid milk and egg

  11. hope this help you.

    * Semi-vegetarianism — A diet that excludes certain meats, particularly red meat, but allows the consumption of others in limited amounts.

o Pescetarianism — A diet that excludes all meat except fish, shellfish, and crustacea.

o Pollotarianism — A diet that excludes all meat except poultry and fowl.

        * Flexitarianism — A diet that consists primarily of vegetarian food, but that allows occasional exceptions.

Veganism   is a diet and lifestyle that seeks to exclude the use of animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose.[1][2] Vegans endeavor not to use or consume animal products of any kind.[3] The most common reasons for becoming a vegan are ethical commitment or moral convictions concerning animal rights, the environment, human health, and spiritual or religious concerns.[4][5][2] Of particular concern are the practices involved in factory farming and animal testing, and the intensive use of land and other resources required for animal farming.

  12. A vegan eats no meat, dairy products, eggs or any foods that have those in them.

A vegetarian on the other hand may or may not eat dairy products, eggs or any foods that have those items in them.

I'm a vegetarian and I eat only cheese for dairy products, no eggs. I do however eat foods with eggs and dairy products in them. Others may eat eggs and cheese, or just eggs. You get the picture?

If you're 13 I'd highly recommend at the bare minimum reading a book on proper nutrition. You will need to replace certain vitamins that meat has in them as well as protein. There are many vegetables that you can do this with, but you need to know which vegetables are say high in b12 or high in iron. You'll want to eat non meat products that have protein (peanut butter is a good example).

Don't just jump on the vegan or vegetarian diet without doing research. It's a way of life. Learn to eat the proper foods that are high in nutrietents. You can eat cake and cookies all day and be a vegetarian but that's not a healthy diet. Remember what you eat now and how much you eat is going to be the eating habit you bring in adulthood. Starting at 13 and eating good meals is a great start. Add some exercise and continue these habits into adulthood. Your body will thank you and you'll be thankful you're not on a diet 24/7 :)
