  1. Bees and wasp-eating animals like dogs, eagles, and muskrats. I have noticed that when I wear certain colors wasps stay away(but I do not know if that is because they hate those colors, which are brown and grey).

  2. To drive away wasps you have several options. You can visit

and purchase fake wasp nests which when hung will keep away real wasps looking to hang around or nest

The best almost free way ( and yes this does work for flys also).

Take a plastic sandwich bag and place a shiny penny inside it. Fill the bag with water. Use some clothespins to attach the bag to a clothes hanger and hang around your porch or deck.

Insects like bees/wasps/flys have compound eyes and the bags/penny trick them into thinking that the bag is a spider's web, and the penny looks like a spider sitting in the web.

The spider is a natural predator so they avoid the areas. This does work, when I first saw it I was like why do they have bags of water hanging. The people said look around "do you see any flies?", this was in middle of hot sticky day, flies everywhere. I saw not one fly or gnat anywhere in the area.

    Good Luck

  3. Go to your local home depot and buy a wasp trap and hang it about 20 ft away from your deck, they will be drawn to the trap you will be rid of them
