Yes, it is called an amendment but a Constitutional convention would also change the Constitution.

The only way to change the US Constitution is by an amendment.  This requires that it be passed by the House and the Senate, and then signed by the President.  Then it goes to the states, and they must ratify it.  Only then will it become a new part of the constitution.
