What do we do on the first day of school?

the school i am enrolled in is a new school. everything is new - the school, the building, etc. on the first day, what are the possible questions teacher asks? and how do you make friends? what are the questions you are going to ask them? i am just so nervous! and how do i make a GOOD IMPRESSION to the teachers and students?

Making a good impression is definitely being polite. When you ask questions say please and thank you. and for making friends (

this sounds corny) but just be yourself! People who will befriend you will be true friends because they like you for you.

On the first day of school you'll Meet the teachers, get scheduals, see your homeroom. Pay attention in class, be yourself. The teacher is going to ask your name, where you went to school before, they'll probably introduce you. Just relax and be yourself.

Well you can start by going to the school site, most high schools have a virtual map :)

You can also visit the school a couple of days before and request a map...

It won't be hard to find places, give it 2-3 days.

On the brightside, most teachers are in front of their door the first couple days of schools, so you can just ask the teachers, even the students.

Academic Skills= KEEP AN AGENDA! & DON'T PROCRASTINATE! Do your HW, it helps with the teacher image, you can be a teacher's pet and get in good with them so they can let you slack off and will grade you easier!

Social Skills= Avoid eating in the cafeteria, unless for some reason it's cool at your school.

MAKE FRIENDS. Be friendly and smile often! :)

First day is usually easy..

Teachers often introduce themselves and give you the low down on their class, like objectives and procedures..

Listen and take notes as to what they require and materials.

Some teachers might ask the class to introduce themselves, so just get up and say your name :)

First and of utmost importance is to be POLITE, FRIENDLY, AND RESPECTFUL

Be yourself, you'll be completely fine!

This is your hardest year so stay focused and organized! :)
