those pounded rice which i cant find in america lingo or United states or Europe.

  3. I&#039;ve never seen those in the US outside of an Indian shop. We don&#039;t use it here.

  4. May be you can find it in Indian stores. It is called &#039;beaten rice&#039;too

    It is called &#039;Poha&#039; or &#039;pohe&#039; in Marathi language,  &#039;Aval&#039; in Tamil, &#039;Avalakki&#039; in Kannada, &#039;Chivra&#039; or &#039;Chivda&#039; in Hindi.

    You can cook up a fast dish with &#039;pohe&#039;. You can find it in Indian stores.

  5. I think you are talking about POHA, they are not used by Americans or Europeans.  They are used mainly by &quot;desis&quot; and I think they are called simply rice flakes.  You can find them easily in any Indian grocery store.
