  1. Committing means sticking with someone or something no matter the ups and downs.  It means not quitting.  How are we squeezing someone's life by agreeing to commit to one another as a couple?  We committ to our jobs, to taking care of our children, and many other things.  Why is it too much to ask to committ to a marraige???

  2. you are committed to that one person. Not to hurt them or cheat on them. Its taking it to a serious level

  3. The state of being bound emotionally or intellectually to a course of action or to another person or persons

  4. Rule of thumb - if you have to ask someone to be committed to you - he never will be.

Commitment is not a demand, it isn't squeezing the life out of someone.

Being committed to another person means having the ability to put them first, be there when they need you and when you need them. To spend the rest of your life making each other happy and content in and out of the bedroom.

Commitment is no games needed. You both want to spend forever with each other and it's actions more than words.

Not everyone is mature enough or even capable of the kind of commitment it takes to have forever with someone.

    Happy hunting. LOL

  5. There is a big difference between being involved and being committed.  Need an example?  It is kind of like when you talk about having bacon and eggs for breakfast.  The chicken is involved, but the pig is committed!  :)~

  6. It means that you will be faithful to them.  You will put effort into the relationship to make it work.

  7. If you have to ask you not ready.

  8. being committed to each other means you never have to worry about any strange fleas being brought home (if you know what I mean)

plus it keeps the kids straight.

  9. well, for me and my man, we're both divorced, but in his case, he was the one who was left, and that left him with a somewhat marriage phobia... for now, he is afraid to ever remarry, and i knew that from the beginning... but, we have committed orselves to each other for life.. he knows i would love to get married, and i believe someday we will... however, with the life we lead and the love we share, we might as well be married.. benefits asside, we will be together for the rest of our lives, for better or worse, sickness in health, till death do we part.. even if we dont have the contract... now, i know him enough by now to know that someday, he will marry me.. especailly when benefits and things of the sort arrise.. plus, i think there is a much different bond when ur married... also, i feel i am being tested, which is ok by me, cause essentially, he's on the same test.. if we can stay together without being married, then maybe its true, that we really wont ever divorce, which is really what he's afraid of... he never wants to be divorced again...

but thats what committed means to me

  10. how is it squeezing someone's life with this committed thing? either you are in a committed relationship or you're not! being in one simply means that you promise that person to be faithful to him/her and to only be with him/her emotionally and physically..if you can't handle don't be in one!
