What do we think of the NFL Pre-season?

Im a rams fan and personally im thinking Bulger WTF. Fans of all teams what do u think of the pre-season so far?

Don't watch it.  They're just glorified practices disguised as games.

waste of time..It should be 2 games only..4 pre-season games represents 25% of the regular season, which seems high compared to other sports..Think hockey is like 10%.

Thing is ..most teams have 50 of their 53 spots picked and its usually the bottom 3-5 spots. Im sure you can determine that through all the practices. Everybody sits their regulars most of the time and rarely show thier true playbook against rivals.

Injuries are so frequent in football and we all know players have had season ending injuries in preseason. Baseball has a rather lenghty preseason but that's because pitchers have to get up to speed.

Hockey and Basketball have short pre-seasons compared to regualer season. The CFL has 2 pre-season games and they start off fine.

They're doing ok, I'm not completely sold on the Raiders run defense because they allowed some big runs against the Titans.

I think pre-season is too long. Four games to determined your starting team is too long. If you can't decide who to play by two or three games then it is going to be a long season. Plus they got the whole summer to prepared.

TThe rams need S. Jackson now and not later.. The preseason should only be 2 games to get a look at rookies and walk ons.

I'm also a Rams fan. I don't pay much attention to the preseason. I might watch games just to see some rookies play, but outside of that I'm not really into it. I'll wait until the regular season to get excited.

I think it's gonna be a long time until Jackson's signed, and I don't know why in the world they signed Trent Green (what a waste of $!)

as a 49ers fan, i want to do away with preseason. i think the preseason is a way to look for special team players...they are pointless and it always seem that a star player gets hurt or injured that will cost him time during the actual season...my suggestion, two preseason games and lets go!!!

We are former Cowboys season ticket holders and had to pay full price for the preseason games.  The players don't even get paid.  All of the money goes into the owners pockets.  Drop preseason games to 2 and make buying tickets optional for the season ticket holders.  I'm guesssing you'd see 5,000 fans in the stands.

I'm a Steeler and I have actually liked our progress thus far. We have some good rookies and a solid offence. The only problem we seem to be having is with our Defence. Yes we played a lot of base D and we didn't give many looks in the first couple of games but its worrysome that the teams we've played thus far have been finding it easy to run on us. But then Troy's still out and the Ham just got back, and once Timmons gets into the first team, the unit will become even better. If we can at least try not to lose it on special teams play, then we'd be fine, perhaps we need to go for it on every fourth down and kick on side kicks only, cause then at least we won't give people any chance of running back at us with the ball in hand. Here we go Steelers, Here we go!
