What do wives do all day when the husband is at work and the kids are at school?

I watch two extra kids (I also have two kids).  I clean the house, take care of the kids, run errands, cook dinners, etc...  A "real" job is a LOT easier than staying home with kids.

Who else dances that c**p at weddings except women? Once the kids are off on the school bus it's time to get down and boogie.

laundry, dishes, general straightening, grocery lists & shopping, dry cleaning, dropping off and picking up kids, shopping, doctors, dentists, yard work, taking car in for maintenance, reading, computing, exercise.

Oh wait, I do all this and work part-time for a wage!

No wonder I have trouble relaxing.

I work but I would imagine they do all the typical household chores during the day. I would go nuts personally but some women prefer being a stay at home mom.

Well in this day and age, more and more women are working while men (some of which are deadbeats) sit at home all day. So maybe this question needs to be re-phrased to "what does the stay at home "spouse" do all day while kids are at school and working spouse is at work?" The days of housewives sitting at home in front of the TV watching soaps and eating bon-bons are long gone. In an economy such as the one we are in today makes it hard for ANY parent to stay home and not work.

Well, I've never been home without one or two of my four daughters (10 y.o. twins, 6 y.o. and 3 y.o.) But I have had a few unoccasional days where all of the girls are out.

Errands, house cleaning, meeting friends for lunch, Y! A (just joking), reading, laundry, cooking, baking, Oprah, excersiing, shopping sometimes, catching up with email.

Of course, with kids it's even more complicated. You've got to keep them occupied and fed and not crabby!

Clean, run errands, hobbies, shop, prepare food.  There is a TON that needs to be done during the day.

Well,I'm not a stay at home wife,but I know that they do several things.They clean,cook,take care of bills and things.Gardening,etc.Go to the nail shop,go to the mall,maybe grab a bite to eat.Or even go visit one of their house-wive friends.
