Tough choice.  I think firefiemen are very fascinating, but policemen have a certain something about them too.  We were in Spain last year, and I found the spanish policemen, swaggering around in tight trousers, adorned with guns and truncheons and handcuffs, MOST distracting.  i can't really make my mind up.

If you're speaking in terms of the benevolence factor, I'd say firefighters, since law enforcement has gotten a lot of negative connotations lately. As for attraction, I don't like either of them.
