I want to be treated with respect, compassion, consideration. I want to be loved and cherished.

What I want varies from one moment to the next, much like the answers of each woman will vary.

The main thing i want is for my daughter to be happy and stay healthy.

They want men to treat them as individuals and stop asking this tiresome question.

To be treated as individuals.

It's simply not true that women are all identical to each other in every way. If you were capable of understanding that, and of paying attention to women AS individuals and treat them as humans, you might make some headway in getting one of them to not immediately reject you.

what I want in a man is what I've got with my FH...with a few exceptions that he still lacks, but I'm sure will improve upon in time:

helping with house hold chores

and learning to cook more.

that's pretty much it.

A fair chance to grow, learn, become rational and rise within ourselves and find love and happiness, a chance to fulfill our visions and be self-determining without hobblements, a chance to live in honorable dignity in a society that does not prey upon us, rape us, beat us, own us, sexually objectify us, reduce us, lock us out, put us down and use us up and says but that it is our "role" that we comply and be used-up in the machinations of a patriarchal system.  Yeah, whatever.

Not to be hit on because we have a nice rack, unless we go out in public with half of it hanging out, then we expect it.  

To be treated equally, unless we decide that it's not fair because we're a woman, then we want special treatment.

Sorry ladies, but is this not the truth?  Time for all of us to look at the real problem and stop blaming everything on men.  We create most of them ourselves.  Yes the seed of unhappiness starts with a male, but they're just men, what did you expect??  Take responsibility for your own minds and actions, be happy because YOU want to be happy, and depend on no man for this.
