What do woodchucks like to eat?

I have a woodchuck living in my backyard and would love to be able to feed him, but I don't have the minimum idea what he would eat. Any suggestions?

Being herbivores, woodchucks eat grass, seeds, leaves, flowers, fruit, eggs, and some insects.

It is not a good idea to feed him. Not all people are charitably inclined towards animals and feeding him might make him less wary of people. That will put him at risk. Better to enjoy him at a little distance.

well wha i would think is that they eat wood but dont be fooled by their easily confusable name.

They eat grass and fresh vegetables. I like to feed them lead sleeping pills myself.
