Also have any of you Americans been there and what is it like, is it a good destination for a honeymoon, plus what do you think are the best places to see.

Thanks.

  1. Best country in the world, mate.

    And i've travelled all over.

  2. Queensland has great beaches. Sydney is good because tourists would probably want to see the harbour brisge and stuff i guess.

but MELBOURNE is really the place to be :)

especially if your here in January, then u can see the 'Australian Open' which is great fun! and Melbourne has the best resteraunts and the best shops in Australia.

    :) :) :)

  3. Queensland is beautiful for holidays, because of the hot weather and great beaches.

Noosa and the Whitsundays are my pick of places to stay in Queensland.

Sydney is nice too, and there are lots of things to do, such as the opera house, harbour bridge that you can climb and ferry rides, to name a few.

Although you want to go to Sydney or Brisbane, Perth in Western Australia is beautiful too, with great weather and many sights to see.

    Hope this helps

  4. What do I think?

Well, I'm emigrating there in 3 months with my Italian wife!!!

    He he, I can't wait!

I love the weather and lifestyle down under.

    See you all soon!

  5. Melbourne is best. Sydney'd be boring for a honeymoon. Or Adelaide has nice scenery.

  6. I live in Brisbane and it's a great place to live, but for a honeymoon, don't bother coming here. Go instead to Noosa Heads or one of the other towns on the Sunshine Coast (an hour or so north of Brisbane) and also go to Sydney.

  7. yes yes yes!!!!

    it is soo beautiful

  8. HEY, I LIVE IN SYDNEY!

I really do suggest you come! But if you were choosing out of Sydney and Brisbane, I would definitely suggest Sydney! And no, it's not because I live there. There's just so many more tourist attractions and romantic things to do. Trust me, I lived in Brisbane for 3 years!

My heritage is American, even though I've lived in Aus. my entire life, so all my relatives live there (In america) and they love coming down! Whenever I say, I have to see you, they're like - NO WAY, I WANNA COME TO SYDNEY!

  9. Hey there,

    Im from Australia,

Just south of Sydney, i have been to both Sydney and Brisbane.

Sydney has great shopping and Brisbane has the beaches,

If i was you i would go to both if you can!!

    Peace
