What do ya think about football referees?

I love american football and reffing football on friday nights is how I stay active in the game, yeah I know we're blind and we alway make crappy calls, so go ahead vent here...

You  have to be a f***ing complete moron to spend 3 minutes in a replay booth, watch the play 37 times and still get the call wrong!!!!!

basketball referees p**s me off more. i saw one game where the guys should have not been reprimanded, not fired, just taken out back and shot right there they were that horrible.

I think we're brilliant.  How many jobs do you have to be perfect on day one and get better?

I have always enjoyed referees that caught the blunt calls but let the little stuff go, like a very incidental facemask or a holding call when he got a hand full of jersey and pulled but did do next to nothing in terms of impeding the defender.  Also on pass interference make sure that the player on defense has clearly interfered, and if he has make sure that if they were both doing it, dont make a "no call" rather make the call on both, so the coaches cannot assume you didnt see it.  hope this helps
