CO2 levels have been rising since the beginning of the industrial age.

BUT

From 1940 to 1970 the Globe was cooling

From 1970  to 2000 the Globe was warming

From 200 to 2008 the Global Temp has remained constant.

Global Temperatures will likely fall for the next 20 to 30 years.

Is Global warming happening ?  Sure.  Are we causing it? Probably not.

What's happening is the Socialists are playing politics with Environmentalism, while the REAL threat of RUNNING OUT  of cheap oil energy before we have a viable alternative lies largely unaddressed.   They think the problem is a longer growing season in Greenland, instead of $4/gallon at the gas pump.

Politicians play games with 'carbon credits' and push impractical 'solutions' like ethanol & hydrogen,  instead of genuinly pursuing the hard science of renewable resources, and the reality of our current oil dependance.

In America, efforts to politically stablize the Middle East are called pointless, and development of local resources is thwarted.
