  1. Some of the stuff they do is ridiculous.

  2. Eco-terrorists.  Did you know PETA activists love dogs so much they set them "free" at a San Francisco dog show only for them to be hit by cars.  Also, they are hypocrites.  Their leader used drugs tested on animals to save her life.

  3. Before you get too far ahead of yourself, you should first justify why two different lives don't have the same value.  In essance, why is an animal life worth less than a human life?  Is it because they're different than us?  If so, what about people of different races?  Aren't they different?

Most people just "assume" that human lives are worth more than animal lives.  And most people would agree with you.  But my question is WHY?  Why is an animal's life worth less?  Is there a convincing reason?

If you can answer that (with a satisfactory answer) then you'll go a long way towards discrediting PETA.

  4. The organization itself I find good in intent and purpose. However like so many organizations there are zealots and extremists. So don't regard those type demonstrations as that of the organization itself.

  5. They are to dramatic.

  6. I thought that PETA stands for "People Eating Tasty Animals", which I fully support.  Maybe they didn't want the pigeons shot because it increases the lead content in the squab pot pie.

  7. I think they are real closed to being labeled as a domestic terrorist group. I don't care what they think, they have that right, but the way (sometime violently) they try to get their message out there is kinda scary.

  8. I think they definitely come across as extreme. Greenpeace is good.

Edit: Is there a PETA member here giving everyone thumbs down? That's lame.
