  1. I don't really agree. I don't think wisdom and courage have anything to do with each other; you can be wise and not talkative, and you can say all sorts of c**p nobody understands and not be wise.

...My Chinese teacher does it all the time.

  2. I think it's incomplete.

Effective wisdom is having the courage to say what no one else has understood before, and also having the ability to make it understandable to the people who need to understand it.

Some philosophers say that if a tree falls in a forest and there is no one to hear it, then it makes no sound.  I don't know if that's valid.

But if the wise man speaks what no one else can understand, and the wise man is unable to change that situation, what's the use of speaking?

Also, if no one else can understand you -- maybe  you're wise and have seen further than anyone else in the nature of reality.  But maybe you've gotten something wrong, and you just think you're wise.

Maybe true wisdom depends on the ability to check what you think you understand to see if it's valid.  And then having the courage to stick with your perception if you're sure you're right, but having the courage to change your mind if not.

  3. it means that if u r wise, u will have courage 2 say something that no one can understand, although i think it would make more sense if it was.. bravery instead of the word wisdom.
