  1. Who will uphold the Constitution and the will of the people. Who will be the best for our country.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna vote for McCain. I don't think that Obama has the right intentions for the betterment of America. I know he THINKS he does, but I think the unintended consequences of his ideals would only weaken this nation further. It's one thing to give someone a helping hand, but his plans pay people just to stay down where they are.

  2. I'm not voting for either of them. I know that neither of them will do America any good.

  3. McCain because he opposes raising taxes. He is the only candidate who can keep a Democratic controlled Congress from spending and spending and spending. Look what happened when one party controlled both branches.

Edit: I'd love to see how Tickled Blue would handle the Russians. They'd be laughing in his face.

  4. Bush / Cheney's spending spree dug America into a hole half a trillion dollars deep. Obama will be more careful with taxpayer dollars, and he's a Democrat.

  5. I'm voting for neither. They are both crooked politicians and I don't really care if I'm oppressed in the name of religious conservatism or liberal concerns for order.

  6. a vote for obama is 1 less for mcnut

  7. I base my vote on who I agree with most and that would be Obama. I don't agree with him on every issue but on the majority and on the issues that are most important to me.

  8. My wallet, what's in it for me.  I vote for the party that has a chance of winning at this time and is going to provide me with the best financial gain or take the least amount away from me.

  9. Upholding the Constitution - SO, that leaves me out of voting for this election - unless I write in RON PAUL.

  10. I look at policies, experience and character.

I lean conservative, so I'd prefer McCain over Obama, although truthfully I doubt I will vote for either of them.  Neither is conservative enough.

  11. Their voting records. As my interest is in our foreign policy, it is concerning that all veterans groups have given McCain a D on his voting record. I checked, and sure enough, he has voted against nearly every bill that helps our military. McCain is on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, but has not been to one meeting in years. I find that pathetic. Also, McCain cannot pronounce the President of Georgia's name and doesn't know the difference between sunnis and shia in Iraq. He is also repeatedly threatening other countries with war or war like phrases, which does nothing but make them angry at us and reminds us all of the past 8 years of terrible foreign policy decisions.

  12. I base my vote on the issues to decide between the lesser of two evils. I do not care about superficial things like age or perceived lack of experience.  I care about the direction each candidate would take the country.
