What do you believe is Christianity?

In my opinion Christianity is the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree... yeah, makes perfect sense.

Zombies are still dead. Jesus was resurrected as alive as you or me.

The Lord's Supper is not what gives you salvation, and it's meaning is not as you describe.

Eve was not made from Adam's rib, but from his side. "Rib" and "Side" are the same word in Hebrew.

I think that Christianity is misinterpreted. God is not a Christian. He is not a Jew. He isn't Catholic. God didn't create Christianity. We as humans chose to put labels on what we believe because people believe so many different things. I say I am a Christian because I strive to be Christ-like. Nothing else really. You can choose to disbelieve. It is your choice and only God can judge you for that. There are things I believe because 1) they have become real in my own life and 2) I can't believe any other way to explain it. I believe that the Bible is 100% accurate. Yes I still have plenty of questions that will go unanswered till I see Jesus face-to-face. But I am willing to wait. I erg you not to test God. Don't mock Him. Just consider Him. One time consider Him to be real. And not something evil. Consider that He loves you and created you. Consider that He didn't plan for any of the sin in the world to happen. But He gave us free will because He doesn't want to force us. Eve was tricked and made a choice. And so things were changed. They couldn't stay the same because she and Adam chose to disobey. But through it all God is still here and still loves.

Pal...........no religion could save your soul, only believe in Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord, you will be saved. Read the bible and follow it.

You are so right in your human, finite, limited thinking!!  But that is just it.  In order to accept and believe in Truth found only in God's inerrant Word and in Jesus Christ, YOU MUST have the Holy Spirit indwelling you.  In order to have the Holy Spirit, Faith is needed and Faith is a gift from God.  SPIRITUAL MATTERS REQUIRE SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT.  It is the Holy Spirit who gives us understanding of God's Word, who gives us strength and peace that surpasses all human understanding.  It is your choice to continue to live in darkness, to continue to have limited understanding and to refuse the only way to God and to Heaven...Jesus Christ.  Your choice, your future.
