What do you call a group of seahorses?

I wasn't sure if you call them a group, a school a herd or whatever? Anyone know?

  2. Herd is informally used by aquarists. Seahorses do not usually group, so there isn't really a group term. As pointed out, "school" would be appropriate if you were to find a group of them.

  5. They're not horses they're fish, so a school or shoal. But if there is no recognized name, which I suspect, then maybe you could invent one.
