  1. A crabber. Those who seek eels are eelers.

  2. They're called fishermen. People who fish for a living generally harvest several different species from the ocean using the same boat but different gear.

Crab can only be caught during certain times of the year, the season is very short. I guess when they're fishing for crab you can call them crabbers.

  3. They are called crab fishermen.

  4. Commercial crabbers. My grandfather did this all of his life on the chesapeake bay.

  5. He's a crab fisherman.

Even though crabs aren't technically classified as fish in modern English, "fishing" has for a very long time been traditionally (and legally) a concept that applies to the act of luring, snaring, or trapping anything that lives in the water. In fact, the definition of "fishing" is now generally applied to any situation where a person traps another living creature specifically using methods of stealth, patience, and deception., as is evident in the modern term "phishing".
