What do you call someone who draws a layout of a shopping centre?

Like drawing the layout of it showing which shops are where and parking all that etc. Thanks

  2. In the United States we call them an architect.

    Todays designs for modern structures including buildings,bridges,even roads are done on a CAD system for a computer. Compared to when they used pencil, the CAD system  can virtually "draw" whatever you might need in no time. More information on CAD systems, as there are several types, can be found by doing a search.

    Usually someone who is interested in architecture finds themself taking Industrial Arts, a drafting class, in High School.

    I kind of think that's where the phrase,

    " Back to the drawing board" comes from in case you hear that slang phrase.
