  1. It's called scaffolding.  That's absolutely correct.  I know it is. It is derived from the word scaffold:

  3. I know that sounds right, but, for some reason I don't think it is. A scaffolding is stationery, isn't it? It should be called a "painters hoist". Not sure. Any professional painters out there? Good luck in figuring this out. LT
